CFC SINGLES FOR CHRIST CAMPUS-BASED
PROGRAM
A. VISION: Renewed
Society in Christ through the Campuses
B. OBJECTIVES
1.) To establish Singles for Christ in the campuses by
evangelizing the admin, the faculty, and the employees
2.) To create an environment for smooth transition of YFC to SFC in
the campuses
3.) To provide support pastoral environment for post-graduate
students
4.) To introduce the social ministries to the different school
organizations, thus, becoming a tool for evangelization
Campus-based evangelization is not just
limited to the college universities. All educational institutions
are part of the campus evangelization including high schools,
elementary, pre-schools, and post-graduate schools.
C. AREAS OF
EVANGELIZATION
1. Academe and Staff
(PERMANENCE) - employees of the school
(administration, faculty and staff workers)
In this area, we work for permanence. By evangelizing the employees
of the school, we make SFC a permanent community within the campus.
2. Transition (CROSSOVER)
- for graduating students (both YFC and Non-YFC members)
Part of our mission in campus-based is to ensure smooth transition
of YFC members to SFC especially in campuses where there’s a strong
YFC presence. In this area, we get the graduating students to join
the CLP, both YFC and non-YFC members.
3. Post-graduate
(SUPPORT) - this includes medical, law and business
schools, specialized government schools i.e. PMA, PNPA, Maritime,
etc. and adult and review schools.
This is most challenging for us in SFC Campus-based since we’ll be
dealing here with more matured people. This is a very diverse group.
We have married people, single people, professionals, etc. This is
where we can introduce our work with the social ministries. Although
our goal is to evangelize, we can start by introducing to them our
social work such as GK, OIKOS, or Medical Mission. Evangelization
can follow after.
